Manufactured and Distributed By E.M.I. (Australia) Limited. (label states "The EMI Music Group - Australasia"). No year stated on label or cover. Black Label With Silver Font. Boxed Parlophone Logo At Top Of Label, Boxed EMI Logo At Bottom Of Label. (Label: PCSO-7027) Issued In Gatefold Sleeve With Lyrics Printed On The Back Cover + Cut-outs Insert. (Cover: PCSO.7027) The W2B (side 1) and W2C (side 2) long matrix variants from 1987 are said to be sourced from the same half-speed master used for the red vinyl Warren Barnett / Festival release. This is significant as the red vinyl Barnett edition used a unique Abbey Road 1:1 copy of the Sgt. Pepper master tape. That particular tape had been specially requested by EMI Australia executives a few years prior, for the creation of the rare Audio-5 Sgt. Pepper LP, which was mastered by Don Bartley.
